This little story (which I read translated to English from French) shows a variety of scenarios intended to promote the awareness of the impact we have on the world--the so-called "butterfly effect" of our actions. It demonstrates the tendency for us to duplicate what other people do in selfish desire, so that we can have our own desires met.

As a child's book, I'm not sure that "What If Everybody Did That?" is really great literature, but I think I'm adding it to the training regimen as soon as I can figure out how to get a copy of it that people can actually access. If not, it's on Amazon:

Anyway, it's not a bad read, and I'm pretty sure that the message is clear enough for the average 5-year-old to get... though I'm going to guess that it might be too simple for some adults.
